INTRODUCTION FOR COVIR

Coronavirus is named after nails protruding from its surface, resembling a sun crown or corona. They can infect animals and humans, and can cause diseases of the respiratory tract.

At least four types of coronavirus cause very mild infections each year, like the common cold. Most people are infected with one or more of these viruses at some point in their lives.

Another corona virus circulating in China in 2003 caused a more dangerous condition known as Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome, or SARS. The virus was contained after making 8098 people sick and killing 774.

Middle East Respiratory Syndrome, or MERS, was first reported in Saudi Arabia in 2012, also caused by coronavirus.

The new virus is named SARS-CoV-2. The disease it causes is called Covid-19.

How dangerous?

It is difficult to accurately assess the death of a new virus. It seems to be less fatal than the corona virus that causes SARS or MERS, but significantly more than seasonal flu. How is the new coronavirus transmitted?

In 2004 OctopusRobots worked on a surface disinfection solution. In the early 2010s, it created an air disinfection system, Biosafety, which was designed to decontaminate equipment and buildings that were open to the public, food factories, warehouses and even shopping centers. Without condensation, this principle avoids corrosion. The product used is compatible with electronic and electrical devices. It fits everywhere, in drawers, cabinets, disinfectant fabrics and all surfaces without attacking or damaging it. This machine is very precise because droplets may not rejoin each other, otherwise they will form water vapor. The module, which therefore creates dry fog, is installed on a cellular base that is remotely controlled and can be programmed, and the decontamination product is compatible with applicable standards. Dispersion tests are carried out in supermarkets. In fact, we returned to the origin of the Octopus project, because the company's orientation towards disinfection in poultry buildings was almost forced on us, not fulfilling our market.
