Trading in equities, forex, cryptocurrencies and other derivatives is common today. While retail investors and traders now have easy access to once-exclusive financial markets and instruments, it also exposes them to trading risks and losses. Could there be a controlled environment in which new? can traders further master the skills needed to trade profitably?
Ikan Bilis was conceived as a fair and open platform for new traders to learn and be proficient in trading various assets. Through the platform, new traders will first of all take trades and gain trading experience in a controlled environment. After successful evaluation, traders will be provided with actual funds to trade where they will earn commissions from making profitable trades.
Their access to trading will be tiered with tradable NFTs (non-fungible token) witheach tier dictating their percentage commission and the size of their trading fund. A in- app currency $HERR will be issued to all successful challengers as incentive to drive social good in the community. This token can be exchanged for the governance token $IKAN which will drive decentralized decision making amongst our community of traders.

The project has an extensive product roadmap committed to building tools to help as many retail traders as possible become better at trading.

Trading Platforms
At the time of writing, Ikan Bilis v1.0 has had a lot of use a set of tools included with the MT4 platform.
We have partnered with an Australian broker called Global Prime who will offer brokerage services for forex, indices, metals and cryptocurrencies with very tight spreads on the MT4 platform. We have also partnered with MetaApi which will expose an endpoint for us to retrieve statistical data on our trading activity. This service also allows us to take advantage of the copy trading capabilities and expert advisors of MT4 which we can turn into a value-added service for our future traders.
Despite having a good and stable user interface, MT4 has been around for quite some time and the user interface is starting to pale in comparison to Robinhood and some of the Defi interfaces out there. We do not exclude the possibility of developing our own UI while keeping MT4 as the core trading and brokerage service. We are also constantly looking for Defi alternatives (eg. dy/dx) that might suit our use case and as the team grows we have not ruled out the possibility of developing our own in-house solutions.
Tokenomics
Bilis Solutions is a system designed to find, retain, fund and reward profitable traders while keeping the unprofitable in a safe zone, protecting their capital until they are ready for harsher live trading conditions.
Prospective traders will first pay a fee to go through the preparation and evaluation stages. During this stage, they will have access to all the educational resources on our platform, which will equip them with the necessary trading tools. Traders can take as much time as necessary to study and practice, and only after a successful evaluation will they be provided with actual funds for trading. This phase is necessary to ensure that only traders who have demonstrated effective risk management strategies and achieved profitability can trade with real money.
